Bowes, P.C., 1955. FIRE IN WOOD CHIP INSULATION. Fire Research Notes 212
ABSTRACT
This note describes an investigation into "the cause of a fire that is believed to have started in wood chip insulation surrounding a warm air duct above a veneer drying kiln. The cause of the fire could not be determined but, of the possible causes considered, ignition by an external source is regarded as the most probable.
