ABSTRACT

Total radiation, flame dimensions and thermal dosage have been measured for burning cordite stacks ranging in weight from 1,000 lb to 40,000 lb. Correlations have been derived between flame dimensions, time scale and weight of cordite, in order that maximwn dosages could be predicted.
