This note lists the testing and approval authorities for hand fire extinguishers in 28 countries. In preparing this note, 44 countries were approached, and 28 of them gave some or all of the required information. Where gaps occurred, they have been filled as far as possible by information gained from other sources; where this has not been possible notes have been appended.
