ABSTRACT

Ranking lists have been produced showing the relative likelihood of fire in the production and storage sides of different industries in Gt. Britain in terms of 'an equivalent frequency'. These may be useful in connection with fire protection legislation and insurance, and in revealing those industries in which existing fire precautions would renay further study. They are of interest also in showing the relative effectiveness of precautions in the production and storage sides of some industries.
