Thomas, P.H., 1955. SELF HEATING IN CONDUCTING SLABS, CYLINDERS AND SPHERES WITH NEWTONIAN SURFACE COOLING. Fire Research Notes 197
ABSTRACT
The analysis given by Chambre is extended to include the problem of the self heating for bodies generating heat according to the Arrhenius law with Newtonian surface cooling; Chambres results appearing as particular cases for infinite surface cooling.
